GCJF supports public education about the civil justice system and how to gain access to the civil justice system when it is needed. He saw himself in a courtroom wearing a suit and standing beside someone he was representing. These visions, paired with the pain he saw in his parents’ faces, pushed him to make the decision to walk out of jail and never return as a defendant.
