Nick Moraitakis has seen mediation evolve from both sides of the courtroom and now as a full-time mediator.
In this short clip, he shares a concern about modern litigation: lawyers are often getting to mediation before they have had serious settlement conversations with each other. That shift, he explains, puts more pressure on the mediation process and can make resolution harder than it needs to be.
